Mineral Mud^TM

CaribSea's Mineral Mud^TM is an unique blend of sediments that duplicate tropical fringing coastal mangrove environments. Mineral Mud^TM particles are in a size range compatible with soft, burrowing infaunal, macro animal assemblages. Ideal for mud refugiums, sea grasses, macro-algaes, and mangroves. Mineral Mud^TM provides a variety of trace elements, chelated trace elements, plus calcium, strontium, iron, sulfur and free carbon. In addition, Mineral Mud^TM contains live marine bacteria to complete the tropical ecosystem.

ARM^TM

A complete reactor media containing not only calcium and carbonate, but essential trace elements as well. In fact, ARM^TM has nearly 50 times the strontium of other brands (7390 ppm). ARM^TM is processed for immediate use with no rinsing required, and has double the surface area of regular aragonite. Calcium reactors have evolved into several types that require different media sizes. We now offer our original ARM^TM fine for down flow, slow up flow, and fluidized bed type calcium reactors and our ARM^TM coarse for rapid up flow type reactors. NO-NO3^TM

Nitrate troubles? Current research shows that sulfur based denitrators hold promise for significant nitrate reduction in heavily bio-loaded systems. These experimental biologically driven de-nitrator/reactors rely on a combination of pure sulfur, aragonite and sulfur reducing bacteria. NO-NO3^TM is that media. Go ahead and experiment. LSM^TM

Here is a pure granular elemental sulfur, with sulfur reducing bacteria right on it. This product can be used in a number of ways, and accomplishes the same job of nitrate reduction as our NO-NO3^TM. This product is ideal for dual chamber reactors, using our LSM^TM in the first chamber and placing ARM^TM in the second chamber. This results in a system that delivers elevated calcium and reduced nitrates.
